Tray Makeover – Take Two

Old Tray Revamp Here’s the finished, and refinished product!

craft fail Remember this major craft fail?  I had such a problem cutting vinyl with my Silhouette, then didn’t follow the directions on my paint and the whole mess just peeled off.

Well, I took everyone’s advice and put my tray in mandatory time out for a while.   I eventually gave it another try  hammered finished spray paint.  Genius Idea!  I lightly sanded the mess and gave it a couple of coats of hammered finish black paint.  It did a great job covering up my previous difficulties.

If at first you don’t succeed, take a time out and then try again!
What have you been working on lately?

  1. I am sooooo glad the hammered paint worked (my mom redid her whole mailbox with it and had said something about one of her tables outside so I told her she should use the rest of her hammered paint and it looked as great as the mailbox). The tray looks great.
