It’s a bird, it’s a plane….no, it’s the Perseids!

One of my favorite things about late summer is the annual Perseid Meteor Shower.
The Perseids peak tonight, August 12, in the early morning hours after midnight. (Technically, that would be August 13, but who’s keeping track?) If the sky is clear, tonight should be great viewing since the moon is should be setting about 10 pm.
Tonight before bed, we’ll set up some chairs in the backyard. Sometime after midnight, we’ll get up, sit outside, drink a cup of cocoa and watch the night skies. It really is pretty cool.
