Well, I’m finally done. My hall bathroom makeover is complete. No major renovations here, just the use of paint, fabric, wallpaper and recycled items. I’m really happy with the new look. It feels fresh and the room seems so much larger.
Here’s the before:
It wasn’t the worst bathroom ever. 11 years ago I had done a faux ragging paint technique that I loved at the time, but now seemed really old and tired. Everything was rust or brown ~ too dark for my taste today.
Here are a few shots of the finished product:
Here’s a look back at my bathroom transformation.
I covered up an ugly tissue box with a fabric cover.
I learned to use power tools and installed some great trim.
I used spray paint to spruce up a bargain mirror.
I salvaged a broken down medicine cabinet.
I transformed an old cabinet door with towel hooks.
I tried my hand at installing bead board wall paper.
I refinished my bathroom vanity with a sleek black stain.
Finally, I made a new version of Our Family Rules.
Wow, this was a long post. Thanks for sticking with me through all of these projects! Onward and upward to the next room….
